Bearcats Return Home for Final Indoor Meet Before Postseason

The Northwest Missouri State track and field squads will return home to host its final indoor meet of the season before the MIAA conference championships.
 
Northwest Tune Up – Last Chance Meet Information:
Both running and field events will begin at noon.
 
Entry for spectators will be through the upper East side doors ONLY. $5 admission will be taken at the door via CARD ONLY. 

2025-26 INDOOR SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
Northwest has enjoyed a successful 2025–26 indoor season, with the men ranked 7th nationally and second in the Central Region, while the women check in at No. 19 nationally and No. 3 in the Central Region. 
 
Both teams rank No. 2 in the MIAA conference USTFCCCA TFRI rankings.
 
Northwest has collected 39 NCAA Division II provisional marks this season across six meets— 21 by the Bearcat men and 18 by the women.
 
At the recent David Hemery Valentine Invite, senior Riley Witt secured the school record in the men's 1-mile run, earning a Division II provisional nod along with the fourth-fastest time in the nation so far this season. Senior Aziz Mohammed also had a strong performance in the 1-mile, placing second among Division II athletes competing.
 
Senior Kiki Witt continued her impressive season at the Valentine Invite, securing second among Division II runners in the 3000-meter run while earning another Division II provisional nod.
 
Sophomore Marie Dea took the event crown in the women's 800-meter run at the 11th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic, setting a new Division II provisional time and earning her the 16th fastest-time in the country so far this season. Senior Lydia McGlocklin also had a successful race, earning a Division II provisional time and placing third among division II competitors. 
 
Also at the Indoor Gorilla Classic, Northwest's 4x400-meter men's relay team, consisting of Logan Arellano, Christian Lanphier, Josh Fraker, and Truman Hare took third in the event and set the fastest Division II provisional time of any of Northwest's 4x400-meter relay teams this season.
