The Northwest Missouri State University indoor track and field finished day two of their busy weekend with strong performances at the David Hemery Valentine Invite, the Ichabod Invitational, and the 11th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic.

In the women's 800-meter, sophomore
Marie Dea run took the event crown while setting a new Division II provisional time, earning her the 15th fastest-time in the country so far this season. SeniorÂ
Lydia McGlocklin also had a successful race, earning a Division II provisional time and placing third among division II competitors.Â

Northwest's 4x400-meter men's relay team, consisting ofÂ
Logan Arellano,
Christian Lanphier,
Josh Fraker, and
Truman Hare took third in the event and set the fastest Division II provisional time of any of Northwest's 4x400-meter relay teams this season.

Senior
Kiki Witt continued her impressive season, securing second among Division II runners in the 3000-meter run while earning another Division II provisional nod.

Kiki Witt put in a Division II provisional time of 9:39.91, earning her 95th overall and second among Division II athletes competing in the event.

Indoor Gorilla Classic Results:
(M) 400-meter Run: Senior
Logan Arellano finished sixth overall with a Div. II provisional time of 47.88.

(M) 800-meter Run:
Charlie Kinslow and
Bret Beard finished with times of 1:52.29 and 1:52.39 respectively, earning sixth and seventh place overall. Among Div. II athletes Kinslow placed fifth along with Beard placing sixth.Â

Marie Dea set a new Div. II provisional time of 2:09.12Â while taking the event title.Â
Lydia McGlocklin was next up for the 'Cats, finishing in sixth overall, with a Div. II provisional time of 2:11.78. McGlocklin finished third among Div. II competitors. Securing eight overall and fifth among Div. II competitors, juniorÂ
Jadyn Barnes crossed the finish line with a Div. II provisional time of 2:12.06.
Kendall Tietjen finished with a time of 2:13.96 earning 12th overall and seventh among Div. II runners.

Mayson Hartley secured 25th out of 50 competitors.Â

Truman Hare completed the 4x400m relay sweep with a third-place finish, crossing the line at 3:12.65, earning them a Division II provisional time and the seventh-fastest time in school history.

Ethan Gaschler placed fifth, ninth and 13th respectively. Smith had a throw of 18.21m (59-09.00) along with Wurtz who recorded 17.39m (57-00.75). Gaschler set a new personal best with a heave of 16.31m (53-06.25).
