All-Academic Athletes and All-Academic Teams for the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's and Men's Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Northwest Missouri State University women's cross country squad earned the All-Academic Team award with an impressive 3.83 combined grade point average under the guidance of head coach
Wick Cunningham. Northwest's 3.89 team GPA ranked as the second-highest among NCAA Div. II women's teams.

The Bearcat women had seven individuals this fall that earned the All-Academic Athlete honor in
Olivia Bakker,
Jessa Cassity,
Mayson Hartley,
Lou Maquaire,
Taylor McCreedy,
Lydia McGlocklin and
Whitney Post.
The Northwest men's squad earned the All-Academic Team honor with a 3.59 combined grade point average, which tied for the 19th-best team GPA in the nation. The Bearcats also produced five individuals this fall that earned the All-Academic Athlete honor in
Drew Atkins,
Barnabe Gabillet,
John Langill,
Grayson Tapp and
Maxime Touron.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
