Northwest Missouri State University senior volleyball performers
Ella Caffery and
Kasidy Mohwinkle earned spots on the Drury Invitational All-Tournament Team.
Caffery averaged 10.40 assists per set and notched a .370 hitting percentage with 19 kills (1.27 kills per set) in leading Northwest to a 3-1 mark at the Drury Invitational. Caffery had 29 assists, seven digs, four kills and three blocks in a 3-0 win over Lane. Caffery gained a double-double with 46 assists and 15 digs vs. Drury. Caffery notched seven kills against the Panthers. Caffery collected a career-high 23 digs paired with 27 assists in a three-set victory over East Central. Caffery put up a season-high 54 assists and earned a double-double with 18 digs in a four-set win vs. Cameron.
Mohwinkle averaged 3.31 kills per set and hit .330 in 13 sets of action at the Drury Invitational. Mohwinkle had a 12-kill effort in a five-set loss to Rockhurst in which she hit .323. She added two blocks against the Hawks. Mohwinkle tallied 11 kills and hit .333 in a three-set win over East Central. She tallied a career-high 17 kills and hit .300 with two blocks assists in a four-set triumph over Cameron.
It is the second straight week that Caffery and Mohwinkle have gained spots on all-tournament squads.
