Northwest Missouri State University baseball student-athletes Jase Johnson and Jaren Guck were named the St. Joseph Mustangs Co-Pitchers of the Year for their performances this summer.

Johnson (Kansas City, Mo./Park Hill HS/Hutchinson CC) posted a 1.66 earned run average and struck out 34 batters in 21 2/3 innings of action.

Guck (St. Joseph, Mo./Bishop LeBlond HS/Truman State) tallied a 1.97 ERA and struck out 40 opponents this summer.
