Barnes, McGlocklin head list of Northwest women honored on CSC Academic All-District squad

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Northwest Missouri State University sophomore Jadyn Barnes and junior Lydia McGlocklin head a list of five Bearcat women named to the CSC Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams. Barnes (4.00 - foods & nutrition: dietetics) and McGlocklin (3.62 - finance: financial management) were selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 15, 2025.

Joining Barnes and McGlocklin on the all-district team are sophomore Grace Hill (4.00 - applied health: sports medicine), senior Kyah Luhring (3.91 - recreation: sport management) and junior Whitney Post (3.84 - art education.).

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
