Northwest Missouri State University freshman hurdler Anjelena Carder competed at the USATF U20 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, Thursday night.
 
Carder (West Des Moines, Iowa/Waukee HS) took part in the prelims of the 400m hurdles and placed 14th out of 18 competitors. Carder put up a time of 1:01.19.
