The Northwest Missouri State University women's and men's tennis teams had three members gain recognition with specialty region awards through the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Assistant coach
Tessa Kwakernaak was named the ITA Central Region Women's Assistant coach of the Year. Kwakernaak helped the Bearcat women capture the program's 14th MIAA regular season title and its 22nd selection into the NCAA Tournament. The Bearcat women went 16-9 and reached the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Junior
Alva Norberg was tabbed as the ITA Central Region Women's Tennis Player to Watch. A first-year player for the Bearcats after transferring from Wilmington University, Norberg led the Northwest women with 20 singles victories. Norberg collected 18 doubles wins and went 14-1 as a pairing with fellow junior
Miru Nonaka. Norberg gained first-team all-MIAA status in singles and second-team honors in doubles.

Sophomore
Dominik Wijntjes was honored as the ITA Central Region Men's Tennis Player to Watch. Wijntjes, a transfer from Radford University, held down the No. 1 singles slot for the Bearcats and produced a team-best record of 18-6. Wijntjes added 14 doubles victories in 2024-25. Wijntjes collected first-team all-MIAA honors.
