MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – The Northwest Missouri State University women's golf squad placed 11th overall out of 20 teams in the Spring Regional Preview held at Shangri-La Country Club.

Madilyne Schlaepfer was Northwest's top individual finisher in a tie for 27th. Schlaepfer put up two birdies at No. 14 and No. 18 as she fired a second-round score of 77. Schlapefer tallied a two-round total of 151 (+7).

Paige Hoffman carded a second-round 76 (+4) and tied for 35th in the field. Hoffman gained her lone birdie of the day at No. 16. She recorded a two-round total of 153 (+9).

Lexi Bartley tied Hoffman for the low round of the day by a Bearcat golfer with a 76 (+4). Bartley tied for 49th with a two-round score of 157 (+13). Bartley posted birdies at No. 9 and No. 16 on Tuesday.

Lauren Briggs finished in a tie for 43rd with a two-round total of 155 (+11). Briggs shot a second-round 78 that featured a birdie at the par-3 fifth hole.
Northwest shot 616 for the fifth-best 36-hole team score in program history. Northwest shot 309 in the first round and came back with 307 in the final round.

The course played as a par-72 measuring at 5,813 yards.

The Bearcats will now head to the MIAA Championship meet set for April 13-15 at Meadowlark Hills in Kearney, Neb.
