Streigle honored as MIAA Softball Pitcher of the Week

Northwest Missouri State University junior Jadyn Streigle has been honored as the MIAA Softball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Streigle (Knoxville, Iowa/Knoxville HS) made two starts as she tossed a pair of three-hit shutouts to help Northwest secure two victories this past week. Streigle pitched 13 innings with a 0.00 ERA and 10 strikeouts.
 
Streigle struck out five Wayne State batters and helped Northwest to an 8-0, six-inning victory over the Wildcats. She scattered three hits and gained the win.
 
Streigle tossed a three-hit shutout Saturday of Missouri Western in the season finale for the Bearcats. Streigle struck out five Griffon batters as she lifted the Bearcats to a 4-0 triumph on the road.
 
She finished the 2025 season with a record of 10-8, her third consecutive 10-plus win season as a Bearcat. Streigle is tied for 10th in Bearcat history with 33 pitching victories. She has tossed nine career shutouts, which ranks No. 9 in program history. Streigle has appeared in 70 games as a Bearcat with a 2.71 earned run average. Streigle has struck out 199 batters in the circle.

Streigle is the third Bearcat softball player to earn an MIAA player of the week award this season. Alexis Brown (week two) and Omara Love (week nine) were previously honored as MIAA Hitters of the Week.
