INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Northwest Missouri State outdoor track and field teams racked up five event victories and set four meet records on the final day at the Kip Janvrin Open.
Northwest swept both relay events and had two additional individuals notch meet record-breaking performances.

Field Events
- (W) Discus: Alli Poage launched the discus 35.55m (116-07) to claim 25th, while Kelsey Fields threw 34.72m (113-11) to placed 25th.
- (M) Long Jump: Wyatt Garner provided a leap of 6.54m (21-05.50) to place seventh among 35 competitors.Â
- (W) Shot put: Kelsey Fields turned in 12.45m to place sixth overall.Â
- (M) Triple Jump: David Parker II claimed the event crown with a jump of 14.30m, as Jonathan Hedrick placed seventh with a best jump of 13.51m.Â
Running Events
- (M) 100m: Joe Ouellette placed 27th with a time of 11.24, while Vashon Riggins came in at 11.72 to place 57th, respectively.
- (W) 100m: Hallie Henfling qualified for finals with the second-quickest time of 12.17. Peyton Holmes claimed ninth with a time of 12.58, as Courtney Kiley came in 14th at 12.82. Krysta Abel (12.92), Reese Brown (13.32), and Emma Lundy (13.61) placed 18th, 29th, and 39th, respectively.Â
- Henfling finished runner-up in finals, besting her prelims time at 12.15
- (W) 100m Hurdles: In prelims, Millie Wempen provided a time of 18.00 to place 30th.Â
- (M) 110m Hurdles: Frank Sparks clocked in with the second-fastest qualifying time in prelims. Sparks came in at 14.32, as Moses Koroma held down the fourth-fastest time at 14.35. Vashon Riggins placed 16th with a time of 15.48.Â
- Sparks sprinted to a runner-up finish with a NCAA provisional time of 14.19 – ranks third in school history. Koroma placed sixth in finals at 14.54.Â
- (M) 200m: Juan Hernandez led three Bearcats with a ninth-place finish at 22.03. Xavier Horn placed 16thwith a time of 22.42, while Christian Lanphier crossed the line at 22.55 to place 19th.Â
- (W) 200m: Courtney Kiley ran 26.36 to place 15th among 54 athletes in the event. Krysta Abel took 26thwith a time of 27.43, while Emma Lundy clocked in at 27.99 in 37th.Â
- (M) 400m: Christian Lanphier led the Bearcat duo with an eighth-place finish, coming in at 49.65. Juan Hernandez claimed 13th with a time of 50.58.Â
- (W) 400m: Tiffany Hughey marked another meet record in the 400-meter dash. Hughey's time of 54.32 broke last season's Kip Janvrin Open record of 57.70. Hughey claimed the event crown by just over four and a half seconds.
- (W) 400m Hurdles: Jaedy Commins set a new meet record time of 1:01.42 to breeze through the field of 22, taking the crown by a little over four seconds - her best time this season is 1:00.37. Millie Wempen clocked in at 1:10.48 to claim 12th.Â
- (M) 800m: Four Bearcats competed in the event. Bret Beard (1:55.43) and Bentley St. John (1:55.70) placed back-to-back in 14th and 15th. Ryker Pithan came in at 1:57.38 to place 30th, while Andres Kemper tallied a 33rd place finish in 1:57.40.Â
- (W) 800m: Marie Dea continued dominance during her first collegiate outdoor season, winning the event with a time of 2:11.31. Federica Lega came in the sixth spot, putting up a time of 2:15.61.Â
