AZUSA, Calif. – The Northwest Missouri State outdoor track and field team kick-started its California trip with the Bryan Clay Invitational on Wednesday night.
Senior
Grant Bradley clocked a school-record time in the men's Steeplechase, breaking the previous mark set by
Reece Smith in 2022.
RUNNING EVENTS
- (M) 3000m Steeplechase Open: Barnabe Gabillet and Grayson Tapp competed in a Division I-heavy field. Gabillet placed 84th with a time of 9:19.41, while Tapp finished 89th in 9:27.61. A total of 97 athletes competed in the event.
- (W) 3000m Steeplechase Open: Whitney Post ran 11:22.58 to finish 90th, with Mayson Hartley close behind in 93rd at 11:30.30.
- (M) 3000m Steeplechase Invite: Grant Bradley placed 9th out of 33 participants. His time of 8:32.43 broke the school record of 8:33.64, previously held by Reece Smith (2022).
- (M) 10000m Open: Tyler Blay capped off the late-night competition with a blazing time of 29:21.65, to place 11th among 39 individuals. Blay's time stands as the second-fastest time in school history.
