EDMOND, Okla. – The Northwest Missouri State University women's golf team rose three spots on day two and to place 10th overall at the 2025 Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational held at Kickingbird Golf Club.
 
The Bearcats shot a team score of 311 (+31) on day two for a two-round total of 626 (+66). The 626 total is tied for the 10th-best 36-hole score in program history. Northwest fired an opening round of 315 (+35).
 
Senior Paige Hoffman led the tournament field with eight birdies in the 36-hole event. Hoffman registered her 22nd career top-10 finish. On Tuesday, she drained four birdies and shot a second-round 74 (+4) to tie for 10th overall. Hoffman notched a two-day total of 150 (+10). Hoffman tied for the best scoring average in the field on par-five holes (4.67).
 
Freshman Lauren Briggs tied for 23rd. Briggs shot a second-round 77 (+7) that included two birdies. Briggs had a two-round total of 153 (+13).
 
Senior Madilyne Schlaepfer bounced back with a second-round 75 (+5) for a two-round total of 161 (+21). Schlaepfer tied for 53rd overall.
 
The Bearcats will be back in action March 17-18 at the Midwest Intercollegiate held at Mules National Golf Course in Warrensburg, Mo.
