The Northwest Missouri State University women's and men's tennis teams have four players featured in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association singles rankings.
Marielena Muench and
Alva Norberg are each ranked on the women's side, while
Dominik Wijntjes and
Antonin Leborne are ranked on the men's side.
Muench is ranked No. 46 and has won five consecutive matches. Muench is 6-3 at No. 1 singles this spring.
Norberg is ranked No. 57 and his 10-3 overall this year. Norberg is 8-2 in dual action, which includes a 1-0 mark at No. 2 singles, 5-2 at No. 3 singles and 2-0 at No. 4 singles.
Wijntjes is ranked No. 25 and has victories in four straight singles matches. Wijntjes is 12-3 overall and 10-2 in dual action. He is 4-2 at No. 1 singles and 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
Leborne is ranked No. 68 and is on a six-match winning streak in singles play. Leborne is 10-3 overall and 10-1 in dual matches. Leborne is 4-0 at No. 4 singles and 5-0 at No. 5 singles.
The Bearcat women are 5-5 overall and 1-0 in the MIAA this season, while the Northwest men are 7-5 overall and 3-0 in GAC/MIAA matches this year.
