MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State men's and women's track and field teams capped off the Bearcat Invite with two new meet records, and another fieldhouse record on Saturday.
Maxime Touron set a new meet record in the 800-meter run, crossing the line at 1:50.00. Touron's fastest-time of 1:48.73 this season sits as the sixth-fastest time in Division II.
Marie Dea shattered the meet record in the women's 800-meter run, along with a fieldhouse record. Dea's time of 2:09.66 ranks as the third-fastest time in school history.

FIELD EVENTS
(M) High Jump:
Jeremiah Rainey-Dunlap jumped 1.94 meters (6-04.25) to tie for 15th.
(M) Long Jump:
Wyatt Garner claimed the fifth spot in the event, jumping 6.77 meters (22-02.50).
Jonathan Hedrick (24th) and
Frank Sparks (25th) each stood at the same mark of 6.27 meters (20-07.00), as Hedrick got the upper edge with less faults.
(W) Long Jump:
Campbell Barta placed sixth place with a final leap of 5.51 meters (18-01.00),
Kyah Luhring provided a distance of 5.38 meters (17-08.00) to claim ninth.
Grace Hill placed 25th with a jump of 4.83 meters (15-10.25).
(M) Triple Jump:
Jonathan Hedrick took the 11th spot with a jump of 13.19 meters (43-03-25).
(W) Weight Throw:
Alli Poage threw 13.48 meters (44-02.75), take claim 25th.
RUNNING EVENTS
(M) 60-meter Dash: Despite making finals,
Quinn Gruver ran a personal best time of 7.06 in prelims.
Xavier Horn (7:10),
Zac Anderson (7.11) and
Wyatt Garner (7.16) placed 33rd, 40th and 42nd in the event.
(W) 60-meter Dash:
Campbell Barta provided a Division II provisional mark in the preliminary heat, crossing the line at 7.60 that sat as the fifth-fastest going into finals.
Kyah Luhring narrowly missed finals with a time of 7.73.
Barta set a new provisional mark at 7.59, to take seventh place.
(M) 60-meter Hurdles:
Frank Sparks qualified for the finals heat with a time of 8.21, to sit fourth.
Vashon Riggins ran a time of 8.74, narrowly missing the finals heat.
Sparks finished in fifth place, with a time of 8.23.
(W) 60-meter Hurdles: Two Bearcats made it to finals in the event.
Grace Hill posted the fourth-fastest qualifying time of 8.91, as
Hannah Hatzenbuehler sat sixth with a time of 9.10. Millie Wempen missed finals, crossing the line at 10.01.
In finals, Hill placed fifth, running one-hundredth of a second faster than her preliminary time (8.90), as Hatzenbuehler took seventh, with the exact same preliminary time (9.10).
(M) 200-meter Dash:
Quinn Gruver placed 26th with a time of 22.51.
(W) 200-meter Dash (INVITE):
Melanie Roland placed seventh with a final time of 25.17 in the invite section. Competing unattached,
Tiffany Hughey took runner-up at 24.42.
(W) 200-meter Dash:
Anjelena Carder finished in fifth place, crossing the line at 25.55.
Jaedy Commins (26.18) and
Courtney Kiley (26.35) took the 13th and 16th spots, respectively.
(M) 400-meter Dash (INVITE): In a very competitive race,
Logan Arellano (48.29) and
Keith Griffin III (48.41) took the sixth and seventh places.
(W) 400-meter Dash (INVITE): In the 400m invite section,
Chloe Saenz secured a new provisional mark, finishing in 54.17 to take second place. Her time stands as the second-fastest in Division II this season.
Melanie Roland also hit a provisional mark, clocking 55.37 for fourth place, while Angelena Carder followed closely in fifth with a time of 56.71.
Competing unattached,
Tiffany Hughey set a new meet record with a blistering 53.32 finish.
(W) 400-meter Dash:
Jaedy Commins took home the event title with a time of 57.50 as the lone Bearcat in the race.
(M) 800-meter Run:
Maxime Touron continued his stellar senior season with another meet record time of 1:50.00. Coming down the stretch,
Riley Witt was a hair behind Touron in second, finishing with a new provisional time of 1:50.32 – ranks. No. 11 in Div. II.
Charlie Kinslow notched a provisional time of 1:51.20, coming in fifth place.
Bret Beard placed 15th, crossing the finish line at 1:54.52.
(W) 800-meter Run:
Marie Dea set new fieldhouse and meet records with a blistering time of 2:09.66 to claim the event title. Dea's time ranks as the tenth-best time in Div. II this season.
Lydia McGlocklin and Dea nearly finished at the same time, as McGlocklin came in second place with a provisional time of 2:09.91.
Bailey Blake also recorded a provisional time of 2:21.40, claiming the fourth spot, as
Alyna Thibault (2:14.76) and
Bree Mauro (2:18.06) took the six and seventh places.
Bailey Robinson crossed the line at 2:21.24 in 12th.
(M) Mile:
Levi Allen was the only Bearcat in the event, taking 22nd with a time of 4:26.59.
(W) Mile:
Mayson Hartley took home the event crown with a new personal best time of 5:01.10.
Whitney Post claimed the third spot, crossing the line at 5:01.20.
(M) 3,000-meter Run:
Brandon Mundorf claimed ninth place with a time of 8:40.48.
(W) 3,000-meter Run:
Ava Gehlen and
Marissa Roberts took spots in the top ten. Gehlen (10:44.88) and Roberts (10:54.01) finished at seventh and 10th.
RELAYS
(M) 4x400-meter Relay: The team of
Keith Griffin III,
Bentley St. John,
Gavyn Monday and
Xavier Horn notched a provisional time of 3:14.27, to claim runner-up behind Lincoln's 3:10.67.
