FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Northwest Missouri State University women's and men's indoor track & field squads took 19 athletes to compete at the Arkansas Qualifier at the Randal Tyson Track Center and
Riley Witt came away with a school-record breaking performance in the men's mile.

Women's Long Jump
Kyah Luhring gained a ninth-place finish with her best jump coming on her third attempt (5.56m – 18'3").

Men's 60m Hurdles
Moses Koroma placed 12th with a time of 7.96.
Frank Sparks took 16th place with a clocking of 8.25.

Women's 60m Dash
Lexie Gilbert tied for 19th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.79. She tied for second among MIAA competitors in the event.

Men's 400M Dash
The Bearcat men had five entrants into the men's 400-meter dash and
Truman Hare came away with a sixth-place finish. Hare's time of 46.95 gained him an NCAA Div. II provisional qualifying mark. Hare's 46.95 ranks as the seventh-best mark among NCAA Div. II competitors this season.
Keith Griffin III produced a personal-best with a time of 47.82, a time which ranks No. 4 on Northwest's top-10 chart. Griffin III placed 16th overall in Friday's meet.
Prince Griffin took 13th overall with a mark of 47.42.
Logan Arellano had a time of 48.29 for 20th place, and
Gavyn Monday was timed at 48.60 for 22nd overall.

Women's 400M Dash
The Northwest women had a quartet taking part in the 400-meter dash.
Melanie Roland posted an indoor season-best with a time of 55.24 – besting her previous mark by .13. Roland placed 13th overall and possesses the 16th-best time in NCAA Div. II this season.
Jadyn Barnes took 17th place with a time of 56.51.
Jaedy Commins placed 18th in the meet with a time of 56.52.
Anjelena Carder ran a time of 56.65 and placed 20th.

Women's 800M Run
Lydia McGlocklin and
Marie Dea were flying around the track and posted the third and fourth-best times in program history in the 800-meter run. McGlocklin placed 12th with a time of 2:09.27, while Dea took 13th overall with a clocking of 2:09.56. McGlocklin's time is the 15th-best time in NCAA Div. II this season. Dea's mark of 2:09.56 ranks as the 17th-best time in the country.

Men's 200M Dash
Joel Dos Santos landed a sixth-place finish in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 21.34.

Women's 200M Dash
Chloe Saenz locked down 11th place in the 200-meter dash. Saenz finished second among the NCAA Div. II participants in the race with a time of 24.49.
Lexie Gilbert finished the 200-meter race in a time of 24.97 to place 15th overall.

Men's Mile
Riley Witt bested his own school record in the men's mile with a blistering time of 4:02.56. Witt's previous best came Feb. 1 with a time of 4:03.61. Witt placed 10th overall and was the fourth-best NCAA Div. II finisher in the race.

Women's Mile
Alyna Thibault posted a time of 4:58.85 in the women's mile. Thibault placed 13th in the field of 27 finishers.

Women's 4x400 Relay
Northwest's 4x400 relay squad of
Melanie Roland,
Jadyn Barnes,
Anjelena Carder and
Chloe Saenz led midway through the third leg and eventually claimed second place. Oklahoma State was able to hold off the Bearcats in the final lap to win the crown. Oklahoma State clocked in at 3:42.00, while the Bearcats took second with a time of 3:43.44.
More Bearcats will be in action tomorrow at Hughes Fieldhouse on the Northwest campus. The Friday Night Lights on Saturday Last Chance Meet will begin at 3 p.m.
