BEARCATS HEAD TO OKLAHOMA, ARKANSAS FOR ROAD TRIP
The Northwest Missouri State University men's basketball team (4-20 overall, 2-13 MIAA) will play its final road games of the 2024-25 season with contests at Northeastern State (14-10 overall, 8-7 MIAA) and at Arkansas-Fort Smith (10-14 overall, 4-11 MIAA).
   The Bearcats will tangle with Northeastern State at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Tahlequah, Okla.
   Northwest and Arkansas-Fort Smith will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday in Fort Smith, Ark.
ALL-TIME VS. RIVERHAWKS
Northwest holds an 18-1 lead all-time against Northeastern State.
   Northwest has won 17 straight matchups with NSU. Since NSU joined the MIAA, it is 0-16 against Northwest.
ALL-TIME VS. ARK-FORT SMITH
Thursday will be the first meeting between Northwest and Arkansas-Fort Smith in men's basketball.
KPI TO DETERMINE SEEDING
With an unbalanced schedule in the MIAA this year, the league has determined it will use FaktorSports.com's KPI ratings to determine qualification and seeding for the 2025 MIAA Basketball Tournament.
   Northwest is ranked No. 14 in the latest KPI MIAA standings.
   The top 10 teams will qualify for the 2025 MIAA Tournament set for March 5-9 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.

10-GAME LOSING STREAK; LONGEST SINCE 1976
Northwest has lost 10 games in a row heading into Thursday's road game at Arkansas-Fort Smith.
   The 10-game losing streak is the fourth-longest in program history.
   The Bearcats last double-digit losing streak was an 11-game skid that included the final eight games of the 1974-75 season and the first three games of the 1975-76 season for then head coach Bob Iglehart.

RARE LOSING TERRITORY
Northwest's 20 losses rank tied for the most single-season defeats in program history.
   The most games lost by a Bearcat squad came when Northwest went 2-20 in the 1964-65 season for then head coach Dick Buckridge.
   Northwest has dropped 13 MIAA games - the most since the Bearcats came up short 14 times in league play in the 2010-11 season under head coach Ben McCollum.

Ja'Vion Byers lit up the scoresheet against Pittsburg State with a career scoring high.
   Byers led a first-half comeback against Pittsburg State. Northwest trailed by 23 points, 35-12, just 10 minutes into the game. Byers sparked a 24-0 run with a three-point barrage of four triples to give Northwest a 36-35 lead.
   Byers finished the game with 23 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Northwest ranks No. 1 in the MIAA in fewest fouls called against them this season.
   Northwest is being whistled for 14.5 fouls per game, which ranks No. 31 in the country.
TRIPLE THREAT FROM DEEP
Northwest is the only MIAA program that has three players with 35 or more made three-pointers this season.

   In MIAA games only, Glock has made 36-of-75 three-pointers (48.0%) to rank No. 2 in the conference in 3-point field goal percentage.
   Glock ranks fifth in the MIAA in 3-pointers made (36) in conference games only.
