Dos Santos, Sedlacek post school records, Bearcats secure four provisional marks at Ichabod Invite, Gorilla Classic

The Northwest Missouri State indoor track and field teams posted standout performances Friday, notching a school record and four NCAA Division II provisional marks across the Ichabod Invite and Gorilla Classic.

ICHABOD INVITE
(M) 200m Dash – Senior sprinter Joel Dos Santos etched his name atop the Bearcat record books once again, blazing to a new school record and Division II provisional mark in the 200-meter dash. His time of 21.12 shattered his previous best of 21.27 and currently ranks eighth in Division II this season.

GORILLA CLASSIC (DAY ONE)
(M) 60m Hurdles – Senior Moses Koroma clocked a personal-best and provisional time of 7.85 in prelims, securing a spot in Saturday's finals (1:35 p.m.) with the third-fastest qualifying time.

Freshman Frank Sparks also hit a provisional mark (8.10) but narrowly missed finals by 0.09 seconds. Junior Vashon Riggins placed 31st with a time of 8.77.

(M) 60m Dash – Junior Dominic Sedlacek sprinted to a school record time, and provisional time of 6.71, winning his heat and securing the second-fastest qualifying time for Saturday's finals (1:45 p.m.).

(M) 5,000m Run: Junior Tyler Blay crossed the line at 14:35.64 to claim third in the event. Senior Brandon Mundorf placed 17th with a time of 15:14.69.
