TOPEKA, Kan. – The Northwest Missouri State men's and women's indoor track and field teams wrapped up the final day of the Washburn Open with two more school records and another meet record.
The meet featured 1,935 athletes representing 125 teams and clubs.

Junior sprinter
Dominic Sedlacek set a new school record in the 60-meter dash, clocking a 6.72 to surpass his previous season-best mark of 6.76. His time ranks No. 11 in Division II this season. Â

Junior distance runner
Riley Witt added Northwest's fourth school record of the weekend, finishing the mile in 4:03.61 to place fourth overall. Witt's performance ranks No. 13 in Division II. Â

Alyna Thibault set a new Washburn Open meet record in the mile, shattering the previous mark of 4:51.73 with a time of 4:49.62. Thibault's time currently ranks No. 14 in Division II.
FIELD EVENTS
(M) Long Jump: Freshman
Wyatt Garner took the ninth-place spot, with a best jump of 6.85 meters (22-05.75).Â
(W) Long Jump:
Kyah Luhring placed fifth in the event, providing a mark of 5.65 meters (18-06.50).Â

RUNNING EVENTS
(M) 60-meter Dash:
Dominic Sedlacek used a school-best time of 6.72 to claim third in finals. Sedlacek's time now sits as No. 11 in Div. II this season.Â
(M) 60-meter Hurdles:
Moses Koroma put up the meet's fastest qualifying time of 7.99.
Frank Sparks narrowly missed finals running an 8.25 (8.250), missing the eighth spot to Xavier Simpkins from Central Arkansas, 8.242. Koroma upped his preliminary time by taking the event title at 7.95 – one-hundredth of a second behind his school record time.Â
(W) 60-meter Hurdles:
Grace Hill ran a preliminary time of 9.09, placing 13th.
Hannah Hatzenbuehler claimed 16th, crossing the line at 9.14.Â
(M) 400-meter Dash:
Logan Arellano captured a new provisional mark of 48.12, placing fourth in the event. Freshman
Keith Griffin III posted a time of 48.71, placing seventh.Â
(W) 400-meter Dash:
Chloe Saenz continued her impressive season in the event, placing third running a 55.39.Â
Running as an unattached competitor,
Tiffany Hughey took second place, crossing the line at 54.51.Â
(M) 800-meter Run:
Maxime Touron took home the event title in a tense finish with a time of 1:51.37. Little Rock's Devin Stevens came close in second at 1:51.40.Â
(W) 800-meter Run:
Lydia McGlocklin came in second in the event, crossing the finish line at 2:11.09. McGlocklin has a season-best time of 2:10.64.Â
(M) Mile:
Riley Witt secured fourth place with a school record time of 4:03.61. Witt's time sits as the No. 13 time across Div. II.Â
(W) Mile:
Alyna Thibault glided through the women's mile, setting a new Washburn Open meet record, crossing the line at 4:49.62, claiming the title. Â
(M) 3000-meter Run: Heats 1-3 took place today, while
Grant Bradley and
Nate Mueller showcased standout performances yesterday in Heat 4 against a competitive field of Division I talent. Bradley secured a runner-up finish with a time of 7:59.82, marking the seventh-fastest time in Division II this season and setting a new Northwest school record. Â

Barnabe Gabillet (8:18.01) and
Grayson Tapp (8:18.11) finished nearly side by side, placing 11th and 12th, respectively. Mueller clocked in at 8:19.20, securing the 14th spot.
W) 3000-meter Run: Same thing for the women's race, Heats 1-3 raced today as Heat 4 in the event featuredÂ
Shelby Harris, who finished in 23rd, clocking in at 10:48.69.Â
Amanda Seggerman was Northwest's highest-place finisher in 15th with a time of 10:41.35.Â
