Bearcats run to a pair of All-America performances; Men place 11th

KENOSHA, WIS. – The Northwest Missouri State men's cross country team placed 11th out of 34 teams at the 2025 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, with Aziz Mohammed and Drew Atkins earning all-America recognition. Both Mohammed and Atkins finished in the top 40, with Atkins achieving his third career all-America award.
 
Individual Bearcat women's runner Olivia Bakker, who was selected as an at-large competitor, placed 52nd in the women's 6K.
 
The Northwest men scored 380, achieving the program's third-best team result, finish off their season. Mohammed led the team, placing 13th with a time of 30:12.8. Atkins was right behind in 14th, at 30:15.1, just seconds apart. 
 
Grayson Tapp finished 110th with a time of 31:48.2, with Maxime Touron following with a time of 31:58.4. Touron set a new personal best. Completing the team's efforts were Tyler Blay (32:30.3), Barnabe Gabillet (32:47.3), and John Langill (33:06.5) finishing 183rd, 203rd, and 222nd respectively. 
 
For the women Bakker placed 52nd with a time 21:18.1 finishing out her season for the Bearcats.
