THIS WEEK'S ACTION
The Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team (1-3 overall) will begin a four-game homestand Wednesday at 6 p.m. vs. Rockhurst (2-0) in Bearcat Arena.
    Northwest will also play host to Lincoln (Mo.) University Saturday at 1 p.m.

ALL-TIME VS ROCKHURST
Northwest holds a 15-11 lead in the all-time series with Rockhurst. Bearcat head coach Austin Meyer is 3-0 vs. Rockhurst.

ALL-TIME VS LINCOLN (MO.)
Northwest owns a 44-10 edge in the all-time series with former MIAA league member Lincoln. Bearcat head coach Austin Meyer is 9-2 vs. the Blue Tigers.

ADDAE HOUSTON'S RETURN
Saturday will mark the return of former Bearcat men's basketball player and women's basketball assistant coach Addae Houston. Houston serves as the head women's basketball coach at Lincoln.
    Houston graduated from Northwest in 2007 and later earned his master's degree at Northwest.

DRE-LO DROPS 40, SCHOOL RECORD VS. SIOUX FALLS
Junior transfer Andrea Lopreato set the Bearcat single-game scoring record with 40 points against Sioux Falls at Civic Arena on Nov. 14.
    Lopreato became the first Bearcat women's basketball player to score 40 points in a game. It tied for the 14th-best single game scoring mark in league history.
    Lopreato is one of five NCAA Div. II players to put up a 40-point scoring game this season.
    She also set the single-game school records for free throws made (19) and attempted (21) in the game. Lopreato set the MIAA single-game record with 19 made free throws vs. Sioux Falls.
    Lopreato leads the Bearcats in scoring at 18.5 points per game. She also stops the squad in steals (7) and free throws made (25).

MAAS SWATS SHOTS, GRABS BOARDS
Sophomore Sadie Maas is Northwest's top rebounder (8.0 rpg) and shot blocker (7) through four games.
    Maas ranks No. 10 in the nation in blocked shots (7). She ranks first in the MIAA in total reobunds (32).
    Maas put up a 13-rebound effort against Wayne State. It was her fourth career 10-plus rebound performance as a Bearcat.
    Last season, Maas collected 48 blocked shots as a freshman to rank as the fifth-best single-season total in program history. Maas also ranked No. 5 in the MIAA in blocked shots.
    She has blocked a shot in 10 consecutive games dating back to the 2024-25 season.
    Maas has blocked at least one shot in 26 games as a collegiate player.
    Maas has collected 55 career blocked shots and is eight swats away from joining the top-10 list at Northwest.
