The Northwest Missouri State University football team rose two spots to No. 22 in this week's American Football Coaches Association Top 25 poll.

The Bearcats also moved from No. 20 to No. 18 in this week's D2Football.com media poll.

Northwest (4-1 overall, 3-0 MIAA) is coming off a bye and riding a four-game win streak. The Bearcats will return to action this week against the University of Central Missouri. The Bearcats and Mules will kick Saturday at 1 p.m. at Walton Stadium in Warrensburg, Mo.

Northwest and Central Missouri are tied atop the MIAA standings with identical 3-0 league marks.
