LOCKDOWN DEFENSE
Northwest produced a locked-down defensive effort in a 34-7 destruction of the Washburn Ichabods.
Northwest held Washburn to minus-19 yards rushing and sacked the Ichabod quarterbacks seven times. The minus-19 rushing yards ranks as the third-lowest total in an NCAA Div. II game this season.     Pigram's three sacks accounted for 17 yards lost for the Ichabods, while Washburn rushed for a total of minus-19 yards in the contest.
