MARSHALL, Minn. – The Northwest Missouri State University women's golf team placed second in a 12-team field, while putting up a school-record 36-hole team total of 597.
It marks the first time in program history the Bearcats have posted a sub-600 total in a 36-hole event.
Senior
Paige Hoffman knocked in six birdies on her way to a 2-under round of 70 and a second-place finish. Hoffman's two-round total of 143 ranks as the best 36-hole aggregate score in school history. Hoffman secured her 19th career top-10 finish, which ties for the second-most in school history. Hoffman's second-round total of 70 is tied for the fourth-best single round in Bearcat women's golf history.
Lexi Bartley gained her first top-10 finish with a two-round total of 150. Bartley shot an even par round on Saturday and followed it up with a 78 on Sunday. Bartley tied for 10th at six-over par.
