MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University football team will play host to the Emporia State Universitiy Hornets on Family Weekend.

The Bearcats and Hornets will kick off at 1:35 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium. The game will also be shown on television in the Kansas City area on 38 the Spot.
Tailgate lots will be open five hours prior to kickoff. The
Bearcat Walk from Hughes Fieldhouse to the stadium will begin at 11:30 a.m.
The Northwest Missouri State University department of athletics would like to encourage fans to enjoy the game-day experience at Bearcat Stadium.
All tailgating activities and consumption of alcohol shall cease at kickoff.
Northwest events are
cashless. The University no longer accepts cash, debit cards or credit cards at its cashiering office in the Administration Building. Additionally, tickets for Bearcat athletic games and concessions, fine and performing arts events, and student organization activities are sold online.
STRIPE OUT
On Saturday, Sept. 28, join in on the
Northwest Missouri State University Family Weekend fun by participating in
Bearcat Football's "Stripe Out" game as the 'Cats take on No. 11 Emporia State. The Stripe Out will be alternating sections of Bearcat green and white.

Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased online HERE. You can also purchase your ticket at the gate on Saturday.
On Saturday, the box office will open at 11 a.m. Stadium gates will open at 12 p.m.

Athletic Training 5K Run/Walk
The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat Athletic Training 5K Run/Walk is set for Saturday, Sept. 28, on Family Weekend.
Cost is $30 per person ($20 for 12 years old and younger). Each participant will receive a registration packet and a Bearcat t-shirt.
Registration on the day of the event will begin at 6:15 a.m. and the race/walk will start at 7 a.m.

Volleyball, Soccer Provide Home Games on Family Weekend
The Northwest Missouri State University volleyball and soccer teams will be in action at home during Family Weekend. The volleyball squad will play Washburn Friday at 6 p.m. The volleyball squad will also take on Emporia State at 6 p.m. on Saturday following the football game.
The Bearcat soccer team will challenge Northeastern State Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Bearcat Pitch.
