Lillie Filger has been honored as a second-team all-Central Region performer by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Filger (Liberty, Mo.) led the Bearcats with 80 hits, a .435 batting average and scored 38 runs. Filger ranked No. 2 in the MIAA in both hits and batting average. Filger's 80 hits ranked No. 16 in the nation. Filger tallied a team-best 25 multi-hit games, including 10 games of three hits or more. Filger notched second-team all-MIAA status in 2024 after gaining honorable mention all-league status in 2023.
Filger made one error in 88 defensive chances for a .989 fielding percentage. She had three outfield assists.
She is the fifth Bearcat to earn a spot on the NFCA's All-Central Region team in program history.
