SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State women's golf team opened play at the ATU Spring Preview held in Springfield, Missouri at the Rivercut Golf Course. 

Day one of the tournament included two 18 hole rounds for a total of 36 holes, round three will conclude tomorrow with 18 more holes.

The Bearcats were led by Junior Paige Hoffman who fired a 36-hole total of 149 (+5), Hoffman is tied for eighth with 18-holes to play tomorrow. Hoffman tallied an opening round 76 (+4) while carding a second round 73 (+1). Hoffman has put up a field-best 28 pars throgh the first 36 holes of competition.

Madilyne Schlaepfer carded a two-round total of 159 (+15) and is tied for 53rd after day one.

Northwest is in 15th place as a team.
