The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team has jumped up to No. 17 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings after its 5-2 win over then No. 9-ranked Washburn.
The Bearcat women are 15-1 on the season. Senior
Tessa Kwakernaak is ranked No. 69 in the nation in singles play.
The Northwest men (9-5 overall) are ranked No. 40 in this week's ITA release. Senior
Andrea Zamurri is ranked No. 40 in singles play and is teamed up with
Vini Rodrigues to be ranked No. 36 in doubles action.
