ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The nationally-ranked Northwest Missouri State University tennis teams each picked up victories over the Southwest Baptist Bearcats at the Genesis Indoor Courts on Friday night.
The No. 25-ranked Northwest women tallied a 4-3 win over SBU. Northwest overcame losing the doubles point to SBU by scoring four singles wins to pull out the dual triumph.

Angela per Moreno recorded singles wins to clinch the dual.
The No. 28-ranked Northwest men notched a 4-1 dual win over their Bearcat counterparts from Bolivar, Mo. Northwest won the doubles point with 6-4 wins from
Andrea Zamurri and
Vini Rodrigues at No. 1 and from
Mason Meier and
Martin Sanchez at No. 3 doubles. Zamurri and
Rafal Bednarczuk secured singles wins before
Fillippo Piranomonte won this three-set match at No. 5 singles to clinch the triumph.
