EDMOND, Okla. - The Northwest Missouri State women's golf team finished eighth overall in the first tournament of the spring at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invite at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond, Okla.
 
Northwest shot a second-round 316 (+36) for a two-day total of 639 (+79).
 
Madilyne Schlaepfer finished tied for 18th following a second round 78 to finish the tournament +16.
 
Paige Hoffman tallied a closing round 78 (+8) to finish tied for 21^st.
 
Kylie Carey finished tied for 37^th after a second-round 80 (+10).
 
The Bearcats tallied four birdies as a team in the second round.
 
Northwest is back on the course next week when they travel to Litchfield Park, Arizona for the SWMSU Classic on March 11^th and 12^th.
