KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The MIAA has announced its 2024 MIAA Women's Basketball Championship bracket.
The opening round will tip-off at noon on Wednesday, March 6 inside Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
Missouri Western earned the No. 1 seed with a 19-3 conference record and a regular season championship. The Griffons will match up with the winner of No. 8 Northeastern State (10-12) versus No. 9 Emporia State (10-12) on Thursday, March 7 at 12:00 p.m.
Northwest Missouri State (16-6) has earned the No. 2 seed and will face the winner of No. 7 Nebraska Kearney (12-10) versus No. 10 Washburn (8-14) on Thursday, March 7 at 2:15 p.m.
Missouri Southern (16-6) drew the No. 4 seed and will play the No. 5 seed Pittsburg State (15-7) on Friday, March 8 at 12:00 p.m. Fort Hays State (16-6) drew the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 Central Missouri (15-7) on Friday, March 8 at 2:15 p.m.
