LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. - The Northwest Missouri State women's golf team finished in third place at the SMSU Spring Classic held at the Wigwam Golf Course.

Northwest shot a final round 313 (+29) for a two-day total of 624 (+48) which is the fifth best 36-hole score in program history.

Paige Hoffman finished in solo second after a closing round 74 (+2), Hoffman finished at even par for the tournament, Hoffman now has 16 top-10 finishes in her Bearcat career which is fourth best in program history.

Hoffman tallied 14 pars, one birdie and three bogey's enroute to her two over 74, Hoffman's 28 pars for the tournament was the most in the field.

Madilyne Schlaepfer tallied a team high four birdies enroute to a final round 76 (+4), finishing tied for ninth overall. Schlaepfer now has four top-10 finishes in her Bearcat career.

Elly Speece finished in solo 11
th following a final round 77 (+5), Speece carded a two-round total of 154 (+10).

Lauren Kohl playing as an individual for the Bearcats, carded a final round 82 (+10) to finish tied for 40
