NORTHWEST VS EMPORIA STATE
Earlier this season, Northwest came out with an overtime victory against Emporia State, 55-48 in Bearcat Arena. The Hornets still leads the all-time series, 47- 17. At Emporia State, Northwest has an overall record of 6-23. The last time Northwest won on Emporia State's home floor was on Feb. 8, 2022.

SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Emporia State goes into Wednesday's contest with an overall record of 10-11 and 7-8 in conference play. The Hornets are coming off a road win against Rogers State, 79-77. Senior Forward Faith Paramore averages 14.5 points per game, also pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game which ranks third in the MIAA. Paramore also leads the team in blocks (10) and steals (25).

Sophomore Guard Gracie Gilpin is also averaging double-figures on the season with 10.7 PPG. Gilpin tied her season-high 18 points against Rogers State last week. Gilpin has converted on a team-high 56 three-point attempts on the season.
As a team, Emporia State ranks second in the MIAA in three-pointers made with 157.

NORTHWEST VS WASHBURN
Earlier this season, Northwest dropped its contest with Washburn 66-64 inside Bearcat Arena. Washburn holds a 13-62 record against Northwest. The Bearcats have only won three times in Topeka, Kan.

SCOUTING THE 'BODS
Before heading to Missouri Western on Wednesday, Washburn has an overall record of 11-10 and 6-9 in the MIAA. The 'Bods are currently on a four-game losing skid.

Senior Guard Aubree Dewey leads the Ichabods with 16.4 PPG, which sits sixth in the MIAA. Dewey also leads the team in assists (100) and steals (37).

Sophomore Center Yiibari Nwidadah is the other Ichabod averaging double-figures on the season with 12.4 PPG. Nwidadah secures 9.8 rebounds per game which leads the MIAA.

Junior Guard Molly Hartnett has passed Tanya Meyer in career free-throw percentage (84.8) to move up to No. 2 in Bearcat history. Hartnett has converted 89.4 percent on her free throws this season.

Hartnett has also moved into the top 10 in career assists with 286. Hartnett leads the Bearcats this season with 12.7 PPG and has dished out 62 assists.
