The Northwest Missouri State University softball team will travel to Liberty, Mo., to take on William Jewell and Wayne State (Neb.) for four total games this weekend.

She ranks No. 5 in the MIAA in on-base percentage (.556). Pieper ranks No. 7 in the league in OPS (1.256). She is tied for sixth in the MIAA in home runs (3). She is tied for fifth in the MIAA in walks drawn (10). Pieper has been hit by four pitches, which ranks tied for fourth in the MIAA.

Alexis Brown leads the team with 12 hits with runners on base. She also tops the squad with nine hits with runners in scoring position. Brown is 4-of-5 in the stolen base department. Brown is batting .358 with 19 hits.

Lauren Gray is tied for sixth in the MIAA in home runs (3). She ranks No. 6 in the MIAA in RBI (15). Gray became the first Bearcat to hit three home runs in a game when she launched three in the season-opening win over Ouachita Baptist. Gray hit two solo homers and a grand slam against the Tigers. She is one of two NCAA Div. II players to have hit three home runs in a game this season, joining Francis Marion's Taylor Watford.

Abby Nolte has been coming through with six hits in seven at-bats with a runner on third and less than two outs. Nolte is batting .326 with 15 hits, 10 runs and 14 RBI. Nolte tied the Bearcat single-game record in RBI with seven at Henderson State. Nolte tied a mark set by Annie Melius (vs. Washburn – April 28, 1987), and Abigail Gilson (vs. Central Missouri – April 27, 2017). She is one of four NCAA Div. II players with seven RBI in a game this season.

Sophomore pitcher
Jadyn Streigle picked up two wins and did not allowed an earned run in 14 innings pitched at the Washburn Invitational. Streigle allowed four hits (all singles) and walked two batters in the two contests. She struck out two batters. The only two runs she allowed in the two outings came in a 2-1 win over St. Cloud State and in the international tiebreaker in the top of the ninth against Minnesota-Crookston. Streigle is 3-2 on the season with a 3.38 earned run average. She has allowed only six extra-base hits out of her 30 hits given up.

Cassidy Paulson tossed her first complete game of her Bearcat career against Augustana (Feb. 25). Paulson owns a team-best 2.83 ERA and is 0-1 in 17 1/3 innings pitched. She has struck out 10 and walked seven. She has allowed one extra-base hit (double) out of her 23 hits given up.

Breck Dickey is 1-3 with a 6.23 ERA this season. She leads the squad with 20 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings pitched.
Dickey has tallied 30 career wins, which ranks tied for the 10th-most in program history. Dickey ranks No. 2 on Northwest's all-time strikeout list with 377 career punchouts. Dickey also ranks No. 5 in appearances (93) and No. 9 in innings pitched (416 2/3).
