Bearcats wrap up weekend competition at Ichabod Invitational, Ninth Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic

The Northwest Missouri State track and field squads wrapped up weekend competition at the Ichabod Invitational and Ninth Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic. 

Ichabod Invitational:

Field Events
Long Jump (W): Anna Gladstone placed 27th with a final mark of 5.10 meters (16-08.75)

Track Events
Mile (W): Whitney Post placed fourth in the women's mile with a final time of 5:05.54. 

Mile (M): Charlie Kinslow placed sixth with a final time of 4:16.76. 

200-meter dash (M): Joel Dos Santos finished fourth with a provisional time of 21.59. 

200-meter dash (W): Lexie Gilbert placed 12th with a final time of 24.99. 

3000-meter run (M): Brandon Mundorf finished 15th with a final time of 8:34.63. Alex Jackson came in 25th with a final time of 8:46.00.

800-meter run (W): In 17th place, Whitney Post crossed the line in 2:20.95. 

400-meter dash (M): Danny Jantzen secured an eighth-place finish with a final time of 49.21. 

400-meter dash (W): Federica Lega crossed the finish line at 58.12, earning her an 11th-place finish. 

60-meter dash: Joel Dos Santos secured eighth place, crossing the line at 6.93. 

Ninth Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic:

Field Events
High Jump (M): Blake Morgan took the fourth-place spot with a provisional mark of 2.07 meters (6' 9.5").

Track Events
60mH (W): Ally Hammond secured fourth place with a Div. II provisional time of 8.60. 

Mile (W): Taking home the event crown, Alyna Thibault crossed the finish line with a Div. II 
provisional time of 4:50.84.

800-meter run (M): Maxime Touron took the event crown with a provisional time of 1:50.76.

800-meter run (W): Two Bearcats placed in the top 3 in the women's 800-meter run, each receiving provisional times. Lydia McGlocklin placed second with a final time of 2:12.05, and Kaylee Harp placed third with a time of 2:12.22.
