SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Northwest Missouri State men's cross country team placed 10th out of 34 teams at the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, with three runners earning all-America recognition. Drew Atkins, Grant Bradley, and Nate Mueller each finished in the top 40, with Atkins achieving his second career all-America award. Their performances set a program record for the most all-America honors at the championship meet. 
 
The Bearcats scored 323 points, achieving the program's second-best team result, behind only their 5th-place finish in 2019. Grant Bradley led the team, placing 18th with a time of 30:04.3. Drew Atkins was right behind in 19th at 30:04.6, just three-tenths of a second apart, making their times the third and fourth fastest 10K performances in school history. Nate Mueller finished 24th with a time of 30:13.1 - sixth fastest in program history. 
 
Riley Witt placed 138th with a time of 31:41.5, while Tyler Blay followed in 167th at 31:59.9. Brandon Mundorf finished 219th in 32:59.4, and Sam Shipp completed the team's effort with a 223rd-place finish at 32:59.8.
