TWO MORE NEUTRAL COURT GAMES FOR BEARCATS
The Northwest Missouri State University men's basketball squad will play two more neutral court games this weekend against No. 18-ranked Southwest Minnesota State (Saturday, 1 p.m.) and Concordia, St. Paul (Sunday, 1 p.m.) at the Peacock Classic.
    The matchups will take place at Dorman Memorial Gym in Fayette, Iowa, on the Upper Iowa University campus.
    Southwest Minnesota State is 3-0 with victories over Fort Hays State (W, 68-62), Nebraska-Kearney (W, 77-73) and Minnesota State (W, 81-68).
    Concordia, St. Paul is 4-0 with wins over Nebraska-Kearney (W, 95-93 OT), Fort Hays State (W, 82-68), St. Cloud State (W, 115-104) and Michigan Tech (W, 83-67).

ALL-TIME VS. SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE
Northwest and Southwest Minnesota State are tied 4-4 in eight all-time meetings on the hardwood.
    The teams split a pair of matchups last season with the Mustangs prevailing in the regular season and Northwest gaining a victory in the NCAA Tournament.

Northwest scored a 78-76 win over Concordia-St. Paul on the only previous meeting between the two schools that occured in Duluth, Minn., on Nov. 29, 2002.
    Kelvin Parker scored 27 points and Scott Fleming added 20 points as the third-ranked Bearcats moved to 3-0 in the 2002-03 season. Current Bearcat women's head coach Austin Meyer scored five points and had five rebounds in 15 minutes of action.

Senior transfer guard Emorie Knox leads the squad in assists (21) and ranks second on the team in scoring at 11.8 points per game.
    Knox put up a season-high 16 points in a 75-64 loss to Wayne State.

MOOSE DIALED IN FROM DEEP
Luke Moustakas is the team leader in scoring (14.0) and three-pointers made (14) through the first four games this season.
    Moustakas poured in a career-high 21 points and sank five three-pointers in Northwest's 74-57 victory over Chadron State.
    Moustakas has made at least two three-pointers in all four games this season. He ranks No. 2 in the MIAA in three-pointers made per game (3.5) and No. 3 in the league in three-point field goals made (14).

1ST 20-POINT LOSS SINCE 2010
For the first time in 153 games, Northwest lost a game by 20 points or more in a 72-50 setback vs. Augustana to begin the 2024-25 season.
    The last time the Bearcats lost a game by 20 points or more came Jan. 20, 2010, when Missouri Southern posted an 88-63 win in Joplin, Mo.
