KANSAS CITY, Mo. – True freshman forward
Sadie Maas helped the Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team (5-1) extend its winning streak to four with an 85-54 triumph over the Graceland Yellow Jackets to close out the Bearcat/Gorilla Classic at Municipal Auditorium.
Three Bearcats marked double-digit scoring performances. Maas piled up a season-high 12 points, 11 rebounds, eight of which were on the offensive glass, three assists and two blocks to secure her first collegiate double-double.

Graceland's only lead of the game was 4-2 with 6:27 to go in the first quarter. Northwest won the rebounding battle, 55-32. Twenty-eight of Northwest's 55 rebounds were on the offensive end, which tied for the most since William Penn, dating back to the 2004-05 season.

Kelderman sank her first three-pointer of the season with seven minutes remaining in the second quarter, extending Northwest's lead to 29-23. Shortly after,
Kendall Clatt hit her first triple of the season, pushing the Bearcats ahead 37-26 with three minutes to play. Kesten capped Northwest's 7-0 run, securing its largest first-half lead at 14 points and heading into halftime with a 44-30 advantage.
Despite a slow start, the Bearcats finished the half shooting 41.5% (17-of-41) from the field, including six three-pointers. Graceland shot an even 50% (13-of-26) but managed only one three-pointer.
Peyton Kelderman led the way with eight first-half points, while
