BEARCAT BASKETBALL HEADS TO KC FOR TWO GAMES
The No. 20-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's basketball team will travel to Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo., to take on Chadron State (Thursday, 5 p.m.) and UC Colorado Springs (Friday, 5 p.m.).
    The games will be a part of the Gorilla/Bearcat Classic which will also feature the Northwest women's basketball team.

BEARCATS PEROFRM WELL AT MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM
Overall, Northwest has won 27 of its last 28 games in games played in Municipal Auditorium.
    The Bearcats dropped an 83-77 non-conference matchup with Sioux Falls in the 2021-22 season on Nov. 13, 2021, in Municipal Auditorium, for their only loss in their last 28 games in that venue.
    Northwest has won each of the last eight MIAA tournaments that have taken place at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.

Northwest and Chadron State will be meeting for the first time in men's basketball.

For the first time in 153 games, Northwest lost a game by 20 points or more in a 72-50 setback vs. Augustana to begin the 2024-25 season.
    The last time the Bearcats lost a game by 20 points or more came Jan. 20, 2010, when Missouri Southern posted an 88-63 win in Joplin, Mo.
