EDMOND, Okla. - Northwest Missouri State University senior Paige Hoffman won a five-hole playoff for medalist honors and set the 36-hole school record for fewest strokes as the Bearcats placed seventh as a squad at the Grace Shin Regional Preview held at Kickingbird Golf Course.

Hoffman gained the medalist distinction by winning over Harding's Pilar Martinez in a sudden-death playoff that lasted five holes. Hoffman secured her second career first-place finish with an even-par second-round score of 70. Hoffman put up the best 36-hole scoring mark in program history at 138 (2-under). Hoffman posted four birdies on Tuesday on No. 1, No. 2, No. 12 and No. 15. Hoffman had eight birdies in the 36-hole event which tied for the third-most in the tournament.

Madilyne Schlaepfer tied for 11th, which equaled the second-lowest 36-hole individual score in program history. Schlaepfer fired a second-round 72 (+2) and finished the tournament with a two-round total of 143 (+3). Schlaepfer had her lone birdie of her final round on No. 13.
