Senior kicker Noah Guastella has been named the MIAA's Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week.

Guastella (San Pedro, Calif.) made 3-of-4 field goals and was 6-of-6 on extra points in a 17-point road win over the Washburn Ichabods. Guastella tallied 15 of Northwest's 51 points.

It's the first time in three years that a Bearcat kicker has made three or more field goals in a single game. Guastella tied for the sixth-most field goals made in a game in Bearcat history against the Ichabods. Guastella drilled field goals of 26, 24 and 38 yards.

Northwest (4-2 overall, 4-1 MIAA) will be in action Saturday against No. 13-ranked Central Oklahoma (5-0 overall, 4-0 MIAA). Kick is set for 1 p.m. in Edmond, Okla.
