KEARNEY, Neb. - The Northwest Missouri State University women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to seven with a 0-0 draw against the University of Nebraska-Kearney Sunday afternoon.
Northwest stands at a record of 6-2-6 overall and 4-1-3 in MIAA play, as UNK sits at 5-4-5 overall and 1-4-3 in league action.
Both teams traded six shots in the first half, with the Bearcats holding a 3-1 edge in shots on goal.

Lily Ellis made one save to keep the score level.
Nebraska-Kearney turned up the offensive pressure in the second half, firing 11 shots, with five on goal. The Bearcats managed two second-half shots on target, but neither found the back of the net. The defensive standoff resulted in a hard-fought scoreless draw.
Ellis recorded her sixth shutout of the season and 27th career clean sheet as she turned away five shots on-goal from the Lopers.
