Bearcats hit the road for more MIAA action against Central Missouri, Lincoln

NORTHWEST VS CENTRAL MISSOURI
Central Missouri has Northwest's number in the all-time series record, leading 76-26. Northwest has only beaten Central Missouri seven out of 54 total appearances in Warrensburg. The Jennies have beaten Northwest 14 consecutive times. The last match up dating back to last season on Jan. 29 with a 68-67 victory for the Jennies in Bearcat Arena.

SCOUTING THE JENNIES
Head Coach Dave Slifer enters his 19th season leading the Jennies. Slifer has posted a 400-171 all time record at Central Missouri.

The Jennies go in to Thursday's contest with an overall record of 14-3 and 8-3 in conference play. Central Missouri is ranked No. 17 in the latest WBCA poll.

Redshirt Junior G/F Brooke Littrell leads the offensive charge averaging 19.1 PPG, which leads the MIAA. Along with Littrell's points, she is also pulling down 8.6 rebounds a game.

Behind Littrell, is Olivia Nelson averaging 14.6 PPG.

NORTHWEST VS LINCOLN
Northwest leads the all time series 43-10 against Lincoln. Northwest has posted a 18-7 record in Jefferson City. The last match up dating back to Jan. 21 with a 72-48 win for the Bearcats.

SCOUTING THE BLUE TIGERS
Head Coach Andrea Mize is in her fourth season leading the Blue Tigers.

Lincoln will take on Missouri Western on Wednesday before taking on the Bearcats on Saturday. Lincoln is coming off a 67-54 loss against Northeastern on Jan. 20.

The Blue Tigers have an overall record of 6-11 and 2-9 in conference play.

Lincoln has two players averaging double-figures on the season:

Ashlyn Alloway - 15.4 PPG
Steph Torres - 11.6 PPG

The Northwest Missouri State University Mid-Missouri Alumni and Friends Chapter invites Bearcat fans to a post-game gathering on Saturday, Jan. 27 following the women's and men's basketball games at Lincoln University. The event will be held at Paddy Malone's Pub, 700 W Main St in Jefferson City.

Molly Hartnett and Caely Kesten lead the Bearcats in scoring this season.

The Kelderman duo control the scoring from beyond the arc. Lindsey Kelderman edges her sister Peyton in three-pointers made. Lindsey has made 31, while Peyton has made 26 total on the season.

Jayna Green has blocked 27 opposing shots, ranking her fourth in the MIAA and 38th in all of Div. II.

Molly Hartnett sits third in the MIAA in free throw percentage (89.2 percent).

As a team, Northwest has taken the top spot in minimizing its turnovers with 12.7 per game. While at the top of the MIAA, the Bearcats crack the top 10 in Div. II at No. 7.
