BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State women's golf team opened its fall season Tuesday at the Central Region Fall Preview hosted at Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Mo.
Northwest as a team shot a first-round score of 315 (+27) and currently sits in 10
th place among 17 teams.
Junior
Paige Hoffman, a returning national qualifier and the reigning MIAA individual champion fired a first round 73 (+1) and is currently tied for third place after the first 18 holes of action. Hoffman has now scored in the 60s or 70s in 27 of her 31 rounds dating back to last season.
Newcomer
Madilyne Schlaepfer, a transfer from Iowa Western Community College sits tied for 11th after firing a first round 75 (+3).
Junior
Kylie Carey is tied for 53rd after a first round 83 (+11).
Elly Speece and
Lauren Wood both carded a first round 84 (+12) and currently sit tied for 60th.
Northwest will begin round two tomorrow with the first tee time at 9:50 a.m.
