MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University football team will open its home 2023 season Thursday night with a 7 p.m. kick against Emporia State.

Tailgate lots will be open five hours prior to kickoff. The Bearcat Walk from Hughes Fieldhouse to the stadium will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Northwest Missouri State University department of athletics would like to encourage fans to enjoy the game-day experience at Bearcat Stadium.

All tailgating activities and consumption of alcohol shall cease at kickoff.

Athletic Training 5K Run/Walk The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat Athletic Training 5K Run/Walk is set for Saturday, Sept. 23, on Family Weekend. Cost is $30 per person ($20 for 12 years old and younger). Each participant will receive a registration packet and a Bearcat t-shirt. Registration on the day of the event will begin at 6:15 a.m. and the race/walk will start at 7 a.m. REGISTER HERE
