Atkins claims Griffon Twilight men's crown

The Northwest Missouri State University cross country teams each landed second-place finishes at the 2023 Griffon Twilight held in St. Joseph, Mo., on Friday evening.

The Bearcat women's cross-country team took part in the Griffon Twilight this evening earning a team second-place finish.  

Redshirt freshman Olivia Bakker led the way with a second-place finish with a time of 18:18.19 and right behind her in third-place was Taylor McCreedy with a time of 18:27.36.

The Northwest Missouri State Men's team also finished second-place tonight at the Griffon Twilight.  
Drew Atkins brought home the individual gold with a time of 18:14.01.
