Northwest Missouri State University junior distance runner Reece Smith has been named the MIAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

Smith (Garner, Iowa) posted the nation's top time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Drake Relays. Smith clocked in at 8:38.68 on the blue oval in Des Moines, Iowa.
