Dan Harrison is joining the Northwest Missouri State University Sports Medicine team as the new head football athletic trainer. Harrison will be responsible for the health and well being of Bearcat football.
 
Harrison previously worked at Carson-Newman University for the past six years, the last two serving as the head football athletic trainer for the Eagles. Prior to Carson-Newman Dan completed an internship at Newberry College, in South Carolina.
 
He earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Towson University in 2016.
 
He is a member of the NATA, TATS and SEATA.
 
He and his wife, Kate, reside in Maryville.
