The Northwest Missouri State track and field team hosted the Bearcat Tuneup Thursday afternoon. This is the team's first outdoor home meet since April 5, 2018. The Bearcats had athletes competing at the Bearcat Tuneup, as well as the Drake Relays and the Kip Janvrin Open.
 
BEARCAT TUNEUP
The men's 4x100 meter relay team of Dominic Sedlacek, Joel Dos Santos, Prince Griffin, and Enrico Cavagna clocked in with a time of 40.38.
 
The women's 4x100 meter relay team of Lexie Gilbert, Tiffany Hughey, Kennedi Cline, and Ally Hammond recorded a time of 45.86 which is a new school record in the event.
 
Vashon Riggins ran the 110 meter hurdles in 15.90.
 
In the women's 100 meter hurdles, Sarah Prickett crossed the finish line in 14.50, Anna Gladstone in 14.76, Hannah Hatzenbuehler in 14.82, and Shelby Butterfield in 15.39.
 
In the men's 400 meter dash, Prince Griffin ran the race in 46.73, R.J. Williams in 47.21, Federico Crisci in 48.00, and Gavyn Monday in 48.03.
 
In the women's 400 meter dash, Tiffany Hughey clocked in at 53.67 (personal best), Kaylee Harp in 56.15 (personal best), and Bailey Blake in 56.35.
 
In the men's 100 meter dash, Joel Dos Santos recorded a time of 10.52 and Matt Goeckel recorded a time of 12.33.
 
In the women's 100 meter dash, Luisarys Toledo finished in 11.88, which is the eighth best time in school history. Lexie Gilbert ran the race in 12.15, and Reese Brown recorded a time of 12.74.
 
In the men's 800 meter run, Riley Witt crossed the finish line in 1:53.59, Yemane Kifle in 1:57.27, and Brooks Mathis in 2:08.85.
 
In the women's 800 meter run, Haley Luna recorded a time of 2:19.28 and Kennedi Cline finished in 2:19.36.
 
In the men's 400 meter hurdles, Corbin Smith crossed the finish line in 56.42 and Vashon Riggins finished in 58.35.
 
In the men's 200 meter dash, Enrico Cavagna clocked in at 21.39, Dominic Sedlacek in 21.51, and Federico Crisci in 21.81.
 
In the women's 200 meter dash, Luisarys Toledo recorded the third best time in school history with a time of 24.04 and Lexie Gilbert recorded the ninth best time in school history with a time of 24.92. Kaylee Harp ran in 25.25, Bailey Blake in 25.64, and Sarah Prickett in 25.80.
 
In the women's 1500 meter run, Danie Parriott finished with a time of 5:02.11.
 
In the men's 4x400 meter relay, Yemane Kifle, Matt Goeckel, Gavyn Monday, and Federico recorded a time of 3:27.31
 
In the women's 4x400 meter relay, the team of Shelby Butterfield, Kennedi Cline, Alyna Thibault, and Lexie Gilbert recorded a time of 4:00.44. The team of Kaylee Harp, Lydia McGlocklin, Luisarys Toledo, and Danie Parriott finished in 4:04.47.
 
In the men's javelin throw, Jonathan Carter threw 119-05 (36.40m), Zach Pittman threw 118-05 (36.10m), and Matt Goeckel threw 111-03 (33.09m).
 
In the women's javelin throw, Addison Long threw for a distance of 135-08 (41.35m), which is the ninth best distance in school history, and Journey Lyons threw 122-00 (37.19m).
 
In the men's hammer throw, David Hipshire recorded a distance of 168-02 (51.25m), KJ Smith threw 138-09 (42.29m), and Antonio Perez threw 134-02 (40.90m).
 
Kaitlin Peek competed in the hammer throw and ended with a mark of 162-11 (49.65m). This is the sixth best distance in school history.
 
In the men's discus throw, KJ Smith recorded a distance of 153-09 (46.86m), Antonio Perez threw 151-11 (46.31m), and David Hipshire threw a distance of 139-07 (42.56m).
 
In the women's discus throw, Quinn Weakley threw a distance of 128-08 (39.22m), Kaitlin Peek threw 127-11 (39.00m), and Kendall Crowley threw 109-08 (33.42m).
 
In the men's shot put, David Hipshire recorded a distance of 52-04.75 (15.97m).
 
In the women's shot put, Quinn Weakley finished with a distance of 42-02.75 (12.87m).

In the women's 3000 meter steeplechase, Caroline Cunningham placed eighth with a time of 10:31.87.
 
In the men's 3000 meter steeplechase, Reece Smith took third place with a time of 8:38.68.
