Bearcat softball closes out its regular season as they play host to Central Missouri and Lincoln

The Northwest Missouri State University softball team will close out its regular season at home with doubleheaders against Central Missouri and Lincoln.

Saturday the Bearcat softball team will also be celebrating Senior Day prior to the first pitch of the doubleheader against Lincoln. Head coach Naomi Tellez will recognize the following seniors:

Northwest ranks No. 11 in this week's MIAA standings with a 25-23 overall record and an 8-14 conference record. The 'Cats enter the weekend just one game back from 10th place, two games back from ninth place, and three games back from eighth place. The top eight teams will qualify for the 2023 MIAA Softball Tournament.
 
Central Missouri ranks No. 4 in the current standings with an overall record of 31-16 and a conference record of 15-7.
 
Lincoln ranks last in the league with an overall record of 7-37 and an MIAA record of 2-20.

Jadyn Streigle ranks 10th in innings pitched as she has gone 127.1 innings.
 
Breck Dickey is eighth in batters struck out with 99.
